Bad enough you have to pay, but the tax service tortures you in the process :))

I have been doing our taxes...simple married couple with a private home...for years now, but I may finally be done. Last year I had to file capital gains because I sold a home I'd held onto for 49 years. What a nightmare.

It seems to be a universal grievance, dealing with taxes.
