Sounds like a nightmare to me. I believe my international travel days are over. This whole scenario convinces me that this is true--definitely over.
I am a simple person. When I traveled in the past I packed a suitcase, got my passport and bought traveler's checks. In time I also brought a credit card with me. My first two international trips I didn't make hotel reservations, train reservations, or even return trip reservations. I left everything to chance. I packed my luggage and took off.
On a later trip I traveled with my sister and she wanted everything reserved in advance. I found that restrictive. I didn't want to be at a certain place, at a certain time. I just wanted to travel around. That's my style.
What you describe is the most horrible scenario to me. Control all the time.

RE: KYC Verification seems to be useless in the Philippine, it can't help you to verify your-ID when you need it for any issues in the future. You must always come PERSONALLY!
