Here celebrations with people and fuss are also common, but I'm not a lady who likes attention. I dread it. When my husband and I married oh so many years ago we went far away. We invited our mothers, and no one else. All these years later we are the same, except now I am the mother and my children are my guests.

I see it as a story of love, memories, resilience and grace.

That's what it felt like...and great good fortune.

Thank you for (virtually) sharing this post and that happy day with me.
