the Democrats are too obsessed with domestic social issues
Jeffries just appointed Moskowitz, Wasserman Shultz, and Bell to critical committee posts. Does this seem like an indifference to foreign policy to you? Or is this a plan, a definite signal that we will sink further into the Mideast quagmire that has consumed us for decades? U. S. voters want a change in direction in the Middle East. That is especially true for members of the Democratic party, who overwhelming want a change in direction.
We will always be at war in the Middle East as long as we are entrenched in the foreign policy of the past. These committee appointments strongly suggest that is the Democratic game plan.
insisting we need them to run a command economy for prosperity
Isn't this profile of Trump's economy? An economy where he is demanding the U.S. have an equity interest in private companies? At some point, arch conservatism and extreme left-wing politics meet. That point is where laissez faire no longer operates and the government calls the shots.
And yes, I agree, we all should think in a survivalist mode because the world order as we have known it is crumbling. Most of world history tells of marauding forces plowing down civilians and powerful leaders seizing control of territory. It seems we had a brief vacation from that. All too brief.
