I'm not sure I speak British English. Perhaps I don't use as much slang as some people. I was a teacher once, so maybe I'm more careful about my word choice.

I love the rabbits, and I don't really have a garden this year--just flowers. I think I would laugh if they ate my flowers. I'd just plant more.

If my house tilts because a rabbit burrowed, then I have big problems. We have powerful storms here. A tiny rabbit hole should present a problem :))

I'm glad you enjoyed the article. It was fun to write and certainly was fun watching that rabbit.
