What a lovely essay, and one that's sure to capture an audience. We all wonder, "Am I a morning person?"
There's an unexplainable kind of magic in the world as it's waking.
I feel that two, but I'm on the opposite side of the clock. Many years ago I worked shifts. Sometimes I'd go home in the wee hours and see the city streets before people got up for work. It was the best time. It was so quiet. There's a different culture in those early morning hours. Different sorts of people coming home from work, others doing chores to make the city ready for day people.
These days I make accommodations for a more usual schedule but I think at heart I will always be a night person.
