I'm glad your son is feeling better. You sound calm now, but it must have been nerve wracking to have him cough like that. I raised two children and that means I had many sleepless nights. We feel powerless when our children are sick. I would stay up all night when they ran a fever and I'd wet them down with towels to lower the fever. My daughter remembers that and when her daughter was sick she did the same thing.
