You sound so nimble, as you navigate the global airways. You have to fly for business, and you like to fly for vacations, but a few years ago, before the pandemic, my husband and I decided that air travel was just too onerous. I decided it before he did. I think the last time we flew and got stranded in San Jose (CA) for two days sealed the deal for us.
Delays, diversions, and hours spent sitting on a plane waiting to take off...at some point this is too stressful. I may fly again someday, if the lure is powerful enough, but I can't see it. A nice train ride, cross country, maybe with a bedroom suite. That to me sounds lovely :)
