These are the sorts of things I would see if I visited. I tend not to go to the 'sights' but to simply wander around. I like to get a feel of the place. Chat with the shop keepers. Ask directions when

Fascinating for me to read. Haarlem played a significant role in my family's history. That is Nieuw Haarlem in New York. Some of my earliest ancestors (my father's family) immigrated from the Netherlands

Thank you very much, @stemsocial. I appreciate the acknowledgement and the support.

I saw this earlier but got busy and couldn't comment. I found a chart that shows user satisfaction with health systems across the world. This chart is by Statistica Australia ranks 7th (49% satisfied);

How very clever you are my young friend. Why do I get the feeling your are writing from experience? We have all been there, I think, waiting for the energy, the inspiration and then have it drained away.

One reason I've never considered organ donation! It's a nice idea in the abstract. Unfortunately, there is very little altruism in the business...because it is a business. No donor card for me. And yes,

Trump is about as reliable in predicting the outcome of this war as Punxsutawney Phil (i.e.: the groundhog) is in predicting the end of winter. Both are suitable as cartoon characters, and nothing more.

Ah, humor...ironic or otherwise. I have learned it is safer to save the jokes for really, really close friends. Even then, it's still risky. Being clever at the wrong time, in the wrong place can ruin

Sometimes I think of procrastinating as a time for incubating ideas...It's like letting a field go fallow. Do stuff you like in those periods. Explore. Enjoy. Fuel for future creativity. At least, that's

Just watched a totally forgettable, very bloody, Predator copycat on Netflix. I actually skipped past a lot of the battle scenes. War Machine (2026). If you like blood...have at it.😄
