Thank you @tengolotodo and @topcomment🌺

I will confess to having moods...so much so that I warn the family when a dark one is upon me. It's very hard to see anything right, when everything is dark. It helps to know that this is a mood, that

I saw his face as I was scrolling and had to stop. You do him honor with your poem. The cadence of it reads like Borges--in Spanish, though not in English. You are absolutely correct. A universally read

I don't know...something about these times has an echo from history. From nations far in debt. Going to war. Disrupting the world order. All the things we depend on, that we expect to be there...will they

This sounds very creative, very enterprising. Making money has never been one of my talents, so I can't say if this is viable--but it sounds good. I'll give a reblog. Maybe someone will see this who will

So very sorry about Scott. Too young, way too young. I think everybody who reads this post will relate. We all sort of let things go, let people go. It's not intentional. Life gets in the way. That doesn't

He'd probably think I was being overly emotional haha. I doubt that. We all want to be loved. It is not about you...it is about us. The fact that it is us makes it all more bearable. He is feeling better,

Last Saturday (8/22) Old Westbury Gardens, a grand estate once owned by the Phipps family, held a Celtic Festival. It was quite large and organized. My granddaughter was there, working at a part time job.

A stroke! Terrible, terrible news. I am so sorry. I feel for your mother. I can imagine how upset and worried she is. Help her. Children make all the difference at times like this. Thank you for your kind

Thank you my friend @deirdyweirdy. We all go through it in one way or another, don't we? Someday (when?) I will become one of the 'disappeared' on Hive. I didn't want my friends to think I was indifferent

The community keeps the lights on while people come and go. I know. It's just, these are such hard times for Hive. I didn't want to add to the general malaise. My husband and I share this hobby, even though

Thank you very much, @anggreklestari and @curangel.🌸 It's always a bright spot in the day when @curangel recognizes a post.

Hello my friend @justclickindiva, We called his oncologist today and asked him to hook us up with an appropriate cardiologist, a cardio-oncologist. This is someone who can tease out what caused the episode.

Thank you very much, @gabmr. The one thing you fall back on in times like this is love. That's the strength. I think we have enough of that. Very nice to see you here. I hope you are well and peaceful.

This bout of grief knocked me fucking sideways though. I am sorry, but I know him because you write about him, because your grief brings him into the present, among us. How you do honor him, and keep him

you must take care of your own health Now you sound like one of my children :) Nobody lives forever, but if life is good we hold onto it. That's what we are trying to do. Thank you very, very much
