Farming has to do with
weeding, cultivation, and planting of crops. What most farmers forget after planting their crops is how to protect their farm from pest. They only have knowledge of protecting their farm from human and animals. But only a few of them have knowledge on how to keep their crops our from pest. Pest are those creatures that eat up crops. Succeeding in eating up any planted crops will later lead the crops not to grow well or they may die.
I'll state it clear that the reason why most farmers like us fails to have the kind of crop harvesting they are supposed to have when crops planted are due for harvesting is because pest have eating them up. Most farmers will notice that pest are eating up their crops but they'll look at the situation to be common till the day of harvesting. As they'll be harvesting crops that'll be the time they'll see what pest cost them. Some farmers may not be lucky as pest may even eat up the whole planted crops, sometimes, pest may eat part of the crops living a farmer with left over.
Pests are not friendly to crops and at such, farmers have to watch their crops to know when to apply chemical that'll keep pest away.
There's no doubt 馃 that I was going for another village square gathering. I saw a farmer who covered her planted crops with a mosquito net. I moved closer to her farm to see how she was able to use a mosquito net to cover her farm. Asking her why she used net to cover her farm, she explained that she did that because she want to protect her crops from human and domestic animal harm. I thanked her after her explanation because her crops was well covered with a mosquito net.
Looking at how she covered the mosquito net, she allowed pest to eat up her planted maize almost ready for flowering. Such condition was not good 馃憤 for my liking. I suggested for her that she can go to market and buy pesticide or insecticide that'll help her fight pest. I also suggested that she can use normal cooking ashes on her maize to keep pest out. At last, she was very happy 馃榿 and told me she's ready to follow what o told her.

La agricultura tiene que ver con
deshierbe, cultivo y siembra de cultivos. Lo que la mayor铆a de los agricultores olvida despu茅s de plantar sus cultivos es c贸mo proteger su granja de las plagas. Solo tienen conocimiento de proteger su granja de humanos y animales. Pero solo unos pocos saben c贸mo proteger sus cultivos de plagas. Las plagas son esas criaturas que se comen los cultivos. Tener 茅xito en comerse cualquier cultivo plantado har谩 que los cultivos no crezcan bien o pueden morir.
Dejar茅 claro que la raz贸n por la cual la mayor铆a de los agricultores como nosotros no tienen el tipo de cosecha que se supone que deben tener cuando los cultivos plantados deben cosecharse es porque las plagas se los han comido. La mayor铆a de los agricultores notar谩n que las plagas se est谩n comiendo sus cultivos, pero considerar谩n que la situaci贸n es com煤n hasta el d铆a de la cosecha. Como estar谩n cosechando cultivos, ese ser谩 el momento en que ver谩n qu茅 plaga les cuesta. Algunos agricultores pueden no tener suerte, ya que las plagas pueden incluso comerse todos los cultivos plantados, a veces, las plagas pueden comerse parte de los cultivos que le sobran a un agricultor.
Las plagas no son amigables con los cultivos y, por lo tanto, los agricultores deben vigilar sus cultivos para saber cu谩ndo aplicar productos qu铆micos que mantendr谩n alejadas a las plagas.

Le suger铆 que puede ir al mercado y comprar pesticidas o insecticidas que la ayuden a combatir las plagas. Tambi茅n le suger铆 que puede usar cenizas de cocci贸n normales en su ma铆z para mantener alejadas a las plagas. Por fin se puso muy feliz 馃榿 y me dijo que est谩 lista para seguir lo que le diga.
