Good Architecture Is Good For Nice Building Not Minding The Location

I'm not an architecture to say, but I'm aware that a good architecture is very important for a strong and beautiful building. For one to also have a strong and beautiful building, a qualified architect is required. A location or look of a land, will not stop a good and qualified architect from setting a building.

The title of this post was as a result of the building I saw from a land i didn't believe to see it from. The building is located in Afikpo North, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. The building proved me that any land is capable of carrying any form of a building not minding the location. I said this because there are land that is sloppy and not level, and some has running/stream water, clay land, and many others. With all the factors i mentioned above about land, a good architect will still manage and maintain the land to give the owner a structured building.

I have watched the building I shared from a scratch when it was been built. This was because the land was hilly. Stream water also surrounded the land. I know, I didn't share the image containing the foundation of the building. But I observed that the architect and the building engineer that handled the house, made provision of sand and nylon to be used. This was to prevent the house not to be affected by the water running from the land before the house was built.

The land that contained the house was hilly. But after the building was raised from the scratch, I have a salute for the architect. This is because not every architect and building engineer can structure the kind of house the land managed to carry. The architect not only made the land to carry a house but also build a well designed house.

I also observed that the architect put a gutter round the house. The gutter was to help the house to be more stronger and not be affected by flood. When it'll be raining. The rain water can easily flush out through the gutter. I observed that the architect made the gutter to look beautiful by adding more beauty to the house. A well trained architect will always prove his work through design. Every of his work will likely carry a design.

Talking about the building itself, I love the look with every design about it. From the architectural structure to the painting. Everything about the building is said to be accepted. This is based on observation.

A few things about the building

The roof of the building was done with a long span zinc. The roof was designed with step. The steps created with the roof was to beautify the building. The roof design, will also make way for air penetration into the house.

Baluster was used to beautify the building. The baluster was used round the whole house. The pillars of the house was also beautified with a baluster.

The paint that was used on the house look original. The painting colors was a good one for each other.

There's a gutter around the whole house. The architect provided such space to help in easy rain water flow.

The building has a solar panel. The solar panel help to generate electricity into the house.
