Just today I continued building one of my projects that will be a crucial factor for my family's future. While building the project I also actively looking for places to relocate some of my crops. But summertime prevents me from choosing any places that I wanted to because summertime is also the time when goats are roaming around freely so I got to be contented to the places where goats will not be able to go.
Relocating String Beans
One of my crops that I have been wanting to relocate a few days ago is my string beans which now need a trellis for further growth. The old location of my string beans is from a wooden chair inside the perimeter of our house. At first I tried to hang them on the steel fences of our house it seems that they would fall if a child played with them and so, I just decided to relocate them to a place near our house's concrete walls.
Relocating Jicama
My rehabilitated Jicamas are also in need of a new location where they would grow freely. Since Jicamas are vine crops I relocated them to place them beside young trees so that they will climb it as a natural trellis. I hope to see them grow a little bit faster since they are now exclusively at a place where almost no one is touching them.
Relocating young coconuts
When it comes to my young coconut crops I was forced to relocate them because they are now hindrances to one of my projects. As of the moment, I am actually do not know what is the variety of my coconut crops because it was only given to me by my eldest sister. I hope it is a dwarf coconut that can start to bear fruit in just two years. These coconuts are actually first planted by me outside our house. One of my coconuts looks dead now but it is actually alive and showing promising signs of a slow recovery.
