Greetings!
My last experience of playing Diablo is before 2003, it was the time when I get addicted to playing "Diablo II: Lord of Destruction" on PC (not to be confused with the remastered version that was released in 2021). I came to love the game because it was awesome (to me at least) and the plot and gameplay experience is a breakthrough. When Diablo III came out I never had the time to play it because I am already working in an office at the time of its release.
Last week I came across an article about "Diable Immortal", it makes me excited because it was available on mobile devices as n "Early Access", and also I am not working in a corporate environment anymore so I have now the time to play it. then a few weeks ago it became available so download it right away and then played it out.
My first impression when I first opened the game is it gives a lot of nostalgic feels, Diablo Immortal is a lot like Lord of Destruction (to me at least).
Just like Like Lord of Destruction you have the choice to play a new character or just continue playing what you previously played. I actually initially played "Monk" but I was not able to record my screen so I started anew with "Demon Hunter".

In selecting a character to play you will be presented with a brief animation and some information about the character, my impression of each character's animation and description is good (to me at least). I choose the Demon Hunter to play this time around (female).

Selecting Facial Appearance
If I remember it right, in Lord of Destruction a player does not have an option to choose between a male and female character version of each character available let alone selecting a facial appearance. I was not able to play Diablo III so I do not know if it is also the case.

Selecting a male and female version of the character is a very welcome option (I actually love to play the female version of a character that I am playing in a game).
Entering Wortham
After selecting a character, the game will begin in a river where your chosen character is riding, this river will be the entry point of Wortham where the game officially begins.
Directional Footsteps
Another welcome change in the game is the directional footsteps that lead you to your quest. As opposed to Lord of Destruction, there are no directional footsteps, a player only relies on the map in accomplishing the quest.
Leveling
My impression on leveling on Diablo Immortal is quite the same on Lord of Destruction, it is quite easy to level up, I think it will change once you get deeper or the level is getting higher and higher.
Skills
As you level up you get to acquire new skills, the most basic of the Demon Hunter's skills is the "Crossbow Shot", which also I think is the melee skill.

Another change in the game that I noticed is the use of skill. The "Rain of Vengeance" for example needs to be pointed above the enemy for maximum damage.

Another skill of the Demon Hunter that need to be pointed toward the enemy is the Multishot Skill, it shoots multiple toward the enemy when used.

Is another skill of the Demon Hunter that needs to be pointed towards the enemy to be effective.

The Portal
After each accomplished quest, a portal will automatically open that leads to Wortham. If I remember it right, in Lord of Destruction, not all newly finished quests will present a portal that leads to your base.
The huge blue oval is at the center of the portal. To enter the portal you need to tap the orange oval near your character skills.

And of course, this game is not complete without Deckard Cain who guides you until you complete all your quest.

Salvaging Items
At your base, you also have the option to sell/salvage your unused items by salvaging them to the "Blacksmith".
Another welcome change to the game is it now gives you a warning if you are about to sell an item that is stronger than the one currently equipped.

Equipping item on Diablo Immortal is almost the as with Lord of Destruction with the exception of the "destroy" option.

Final Thoughts
The game feels very nostalgic, the elements did not sway away completely from Lord of Destruction which makes playing the game a lot easier.
All in all my impression of the game is good, it may or may not change once I get deeper into the game. the gameplay experience is nice, I never get bored in the first 60 minutes of playing, I actually wanted to play the Demon Hunter a lot longer but it is getting late and I am feeling sleepy already.
