Greetings!
It seems that there is a little shift in decks again so I decided to make changes a bit on my deck. This time I just let the changes immediately be tested in ranked games since I have nothing to lose and more to gain. I swapped my two 7 mana cards (including one Legendary) in favor of two blitz cards and also I switched my god power to Selena's Mark from Animal Bond and in return, I won 5 of my 8 matches in Midnight Shadow.
And just like what I experienced a deck that can breach a higher rank is not going to be as solid as it was when it breached a higher rank.
So, without further ado here are the gameplay in this edition of Daily Play and Earn.
Victory #1 - versus Midrange War
Right at the bat one of my victories came with War which my deck is historically weak. Against war, I have to draw well, or else, it would be GG very quickly in favor of my opponent. My starting hand in this match is consisting of Penumbra Howler, Vicious Manticore, Canopy Barrage, and Finnian Fruitbearer. I played Finian on my first turn and I was able to kill the creature that my opponent first played using Canopy Barrage. On my second turn, I was able to kill the frontline card that my opponent played while I was able to keep Finnian alive using the buff from Amazon Conscropt. At four mana, I played Celestial Stag and then I was again able to clear the board of my opponent using Vanguard Axewoman. Then a five mana I was a little advantage but I was again able to clear the board of my opponent while I was able to retain Celestial Stag on the board. At turn five I used my favor to get a rune from the Sanctum which I used to clear the board of my opponent. At 5.5 mana I was again at a disadvantage when my opponent has one creature on the board while I got none but luckily I was able to clear the board of my opponent and then I was able to play Nefarious to which my opponent responded with two creature in response I used VIcious Manticore to get rid of the Grand Hall of my opponent. At 7 mana I was able to build a wall of three creatures on the board while my opponent has none. The battle went toe-to-toe until my opponent uses City Planner to slow me down but luckily I was able able to clear the board of my opponent. City Planner proved to be the last stand of my opponent and at 8 my opponent quit.
Victory #2 - versus Wild Aggro Nature
This next match is against another nature deck. The recording starts at two mana my opponent just played Blazing Talisman. Blazing Talisman is an annoying relic if used correctly and not destroyed quickly. At three mana I was able to clear the board of my opponent using Canopy Barrage and then I was able to play Black Jaguar. At four mana I was at a little disadvantage (my opponent to two creatures on the board while I only got one). At the end of four mana turns, I got two creatures on the board while my opponent has none. then at the fifth turn, I was able to destroy Blasing Talisman using Nefarious Briar to which my opponent was forced to concede thus giving me my second victory.
Victory #3 - versus Midrange Light
I am going second in this match and my starting hand is consisting of Black Jaguar, Vanguard Axewoman, Bladefly, and Amazon Conscript. Just like any of my previous matches, I went aggressive in this match playing Vanguard Axewoman and Amazon Conscript. At four mana, U was able to play Bladefly and I am also able to clear the board of my opponent at the end of the turn. At five mana, I played Vicious Manticore and at the end of the turn, I got four creatures on the board while my opponent has none. At 5.5 mana I was able to clear the board of my opponent further reducing the hp of my opponent's god to 7 which proves to be the turning point of the game forcing my opponent to concede.
Victory #5 - versus Olympian Aggro War
In this match, my opponent opened the match by playing Enduring Shield (a very annoying relic when used correctly). My starting hand in this match is consisting of Canopy Barrage, Black Jaguar, Bladefly, and Lightning Strike. On my first turn, I played Black Jaguar. On my second turn, I was able to kill the creature of my opponent while I was able to play Nightleaf Hunter. On my third turn, I used one of my mana gems so that I could play Bladefly. At the end of the turn, I got four creatures on the board while my opponent has none. At four mana, I got two Baldefly on the board while my opponent has one. At five mana, I was able to clear the board of my opponent while I was able to retain two Bladefly and I am also able to play Black Jaguar giving me three creatures on the board while my opponent has none. At the end of the fifth turn, I was able to reduce the durability of my opponent's relic to 1 while I got four creatures on the board while my opponent has none. At six mana I buffed the strength (+2) of the creature which killed my opponent's god giving me another victory.
Note: I was not able to record one of my victories
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
