Greetings!

Since the Band of the Wolf went live deck archetypes have changed. Ember Oni made the already defensive decks more defensive (like Deception decks). The war deck became stronger with Rios The Old Wolf and card-stealing & creature-controlling deception decks have more power to steal and control with Shrike Moonlighter, Vulpine Shadowshifter, and Gama, Lord of Berries.

Band of the Wolf made me think that "Wild" Nature did not receive any love. I know, I can use those Neutral cards but a "Wild" card is nice to make it synergize with the whole deck. And since most of the deck archetypes got stronger, "Wild" Nature seems to be left behind. With that being said, in the first week after Band of the Wolf went live my Wild Nature deck struggles to keep up until I made a decision to use one of my Wild decks from months ago, it did nice and made me win 7 out of 10 games.

Since deck archetypes are always changing I do not know if this old deck of mine will be able to keep up for a week or two. So, without further ado, here are the gameplay of this edition of daily play & Earn.

Victory #1 - versus Aggro War

This deck's history against War is good it can win >50% of the matches until the resurgence of War decks in the past months. I have nothing to lose so I just went and used it on ranked. My starting hand on this match is consisting of Nightleaf Hunter, Canopy Barrage, and Black Jaguar, I drew Bladefly on my first turn. I first played Black Jaguar in response to Enduring Shield. At turn two, I was at a disadvantage: my opponent got two creatures (one with protected) while I got none. it is a good thing I already got Bladefly on my hands. At turn four, the two creatures of my opponent became four. I gambled by using my mana gem so that I could play Vanguard Axewoman and Wildfire, it worked (I was able to clear my opponent's board). Then came turn 6, and I played Lightning Strike (another gamble). Then at mana 6 I was able to play Bladefly and Black Jaguar which gives a little hope to mount a comeback, it is a good thing that by this time my opponent has no card in hand which proves to be the turning point of the game giving me my first victory.

Victory #2 - versus Midrange Light

The video recording of this match begins at two mana. On my third turn, I was able to have three creatures on my board while my opponent has none, at the next turn, my opponent played a frontline creature to which I was forced to use Poison Dart to kill it. On my fifth turn, I was able to build a wall of four creatures on my board (including Forrestheart Dryad) while my opponent has none. At six mana I was able to destroy all my opponent's creatures using The Hunt while keeping two of my creature on the board. Then my opponent messed up my tactics by playing a card that gives an order to one of my creatures every single turn. Then at seven mana, I was able to finally beat up my opponent giving me another victory in the bag.

Victory #3 - versus Wild Aggro Nature

In this match, my starting hand is consisting of Vulpine Collector. Nightleaf Hunder, and Revivification. My opponent first played Balck Jaguar and I responded with Vulpine Collector. At turn three, I was able to keep three creatures on my board while my opponent has none. My opponent played Moonlight Chard. At five mana I was lucky to draw Bladefly, giving me control of the board. At five mana I played Wildfire which proves to be the turning point of the game giving me another victory.

Victory #4 - versus Wild Aggro Nature

This has to be the longest match of this edition of daily play & Earn, it took less than fifteen minutes which is always the case when battling another nature deck. We went back and forth with my opponent in each round. At five mana I got five creatures on my board which leads me to believe that I have the upper hand and can finish the match in just two turns, I was wrong because my opponent played 7/8 creatures which forced me to use my creature on the board just to kill it and in response my opponent gambled with two lightning strikes to clear my board. Luckily I got revivification on my hand, I played it alongside Black Jaguar and Forresthear Dryad. At seven mana I got five creatures on the board only for my opponent to destroy three using The Hunt. At eight mana my opponent was able to put me at a disadvantage by playing Bladefly and went on to control the board by virtue of four creatures on the board. Luckily on nine mana, I drew The Hunt which helps me to clear my opponent's board on my way to another victory.

Victory #5 - versus Zombie Aggro Death

Since the emergence of war, death decks are also slowly making a comeback. The start of this video recording begins at turn three. At turn four I play Forrestheard Dryad and Nightleaf Hunter. My opponent responded by way of a backline card. It is a good thing that I drew Bladefly on my next turn giving me little control of the board. And in my next turn, I played Wildfire which buffed all the bladefly on the board on my way to another victory.

Victory #6 - versus Control Deception

In this match I am going second, it is a good thing that my opponent was not able to play a card. I took advantage of it and I played Black Jaguar, my opponent was still not able to play a card, so I immediately play Forrestheart Dryad. At the fifth turn, my opponent played an early Cutthroat Insight. At four mana I was able to keep four creatures on the board. At the end of my fifth turn, I was not able to play a card, but luckily on my next turn, I was able to clear the board of my opponent using The Hunt and in response my opponent use Rapture Dance, it is a good thing that not all creature was killed. At six mana I was able to buff all of my creatures using Firewine on my way to another victory.

Victory #7 - versus Midrange War

This match is probably the shortest of all my matches in this edition of daily play & Earn, watch how it unfolds. At three mana I am at a disadvantage, it is a good thing that I was able to play two cards which enables me to not totally conceded control of the board. At four mana my opponent uses "Another Round" and decided to go face which gives me an opening to keep control of the board. At the end of 5.5 mana, I still got little control of the board and in 6 mana I buffed all my create using Firewine on my way to my seventh victory in ten matches.

That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
