It was probably after completing my MBA in 2010, I started taking interest in online earnings. It was like 11 years ago, at that time there was not much concept of earning online here in our part of the world.
But I was the one much motivated to do so and I started investing in different companies and website time and time again.
Failed Investments
Most of them were based on sort of get rich rick quick schemes and probably that was the reason most of them turned scams. But I kept on skipping to others knowing the risks involved. I was sort of looking for my luck, lol.
Long story short, I lost all my investments, lost my money instead of making money. And may be rightly so, because there is no shortcut to success.
If you see different successful people, you will find their continues struggle behind it.
I Quit
In the end after getting tired, I quit investing in these get rich quick schemes. No doubt they taught me a lesson lol. I would not say I failed, because that was my learning experience.
And that is why I provided some good advice to people who asked me about websites that were sort of get rich quick schemes, because they knew I have experienced these things before.
Knowing About Steemit
And then after a few years, I saw some repeated Facebook ads from 
Yeah I did struggle there but was posting consistently. In the mid I became inactive probably getting tired and frustrated but then somehow I was in touch with it.
Later, I saw news about HIVE posted by users on Steemit, but I didn't take that serious because I thought it is the same thing, what could be the difference plus I didn't want the traffic divided because I thought that could hurt the community.
Moving to HIVE
But then seeing some smart users skipping to HIVE blockchain, I finally convinced myself to move to HIVE too. It was probably an year ago and from that day I remained active on HIVE.
Then after the introduction of tribes like Proofofbrain.io and Leofinance.io, I was like on the moon. I was very excited about it and tried to to show my presence on these tribes using its tags and was happy to collect POB and LEO as side tokens to HIVE.
I saw growing user's interest in POB and Leo, motivating me to post regularly on POB as well as Leofinance.
This increased interest and motivation made me use POB mostly on a frontend. And then lately like a week or so, thankfully I was successful enough to grab the attention of a Whale like 
Happy to power up more POB today, crossing 200 POB Power.
What I like about HIVE is that it is more stable. It's not a get rich quick scheme, nor you have to invest. You just need time investment. So no risks involved here. All you need is try to be as consistent as you can giving your best and earning side tokens like POB, LEO and some more.
