Robotic Workstyle Terminates Life

Most times, we feel like the more we work the higher our productivity becomes but little did we know that burning ourselves out just to get this done on a high level will simply result to no/low-productivity.

Balancing work and life is the most appropriate thing to do and while we struggle hard to meet up with standards as business owners or clear our to-do list and pressuring tasks as white collar workers, one thing is certain that without giving ourselves breaks to rest or just pause to give the brain a moment of refreshing then work might end up continuing in our absence.

Sometimes we forget that we are humans and we feel like we can work out like robots and mind you, even robots tends to pack up at times and they have to hybernate. In the process of being overwhelmed with work, we should also decode that the life span of work is so long than the one of human.

I saw a post on LinkedIn of a creator who collapsed at work and was rushed to the hospital. She didn't just collapse because it came suddenly but she had been ignoring the body signs she was getting because she had a lot on her table to sort but then the health could not condone the ignorance and harsh treatment and decided to fight back to seek attention.

We can balance our work-life by simply knowing when to take a break either as an employer, employee or business owners. One thing I do tell myself is that there is no way I can finish everything in a day and the best I can do is ensure that I sort the most pressing tasks based on priorities so that I don't get choked while trying to sort it all.
