Hello Steemers. Today i would love to share these visual elements with STEEMIT BRAND IDENTITY to express color.
We are going yellow here. Generally color is used to evoke emotion and express personality thus stimulating brand association and accelerating differentiation. The same way the brain reads color after it registers a shape and before it reads content.
While other colors are used to unify an identity, some colors may be used functionally to clarify brand architecture, through differentiating products or business lines. Primary brand color is assigned to the symbol while the secondary color is assigned to the logotype, business descriptor and tagline.
Generally color creates emotion, triggers memory, and gives sensation.
The appropriate use of colors helps make sure all users or consumers of a brand can access and understand the brand's communications regardless of their abilities. You should also avoid relying on color alone to convey information. But always provide text or other graphical cues to guide customers to your message.
So a Designer is the ultimate arbiter for setting color consistency across platforms. And trust me it is hard because ensuring consistency across multiple applications is frequently a challenge. I always tell myself that i can never know enough about color so i depend on my basic color theory knowledge.
