ENTRIES FOR AFRI-TUNES WEEK 3️⃣9️⃣

The 39th Week of Afri-tunes Event on Hive began on 2nd of December and ran through December 8th. This was a week full of Soul, life and groove. We had twenty (20) amazing entries for this week.

Amongst all our wonderful and talented artists who produced amazing entries on Afri-tunes Week 39 event, we are pleased to announce that @jessicaossom will be the artist of Week. Her post will be featured among the Afri-tunes Community's pinned posts for the Week.

@jessicaossom makes a fantastic choral performance of a Gospel song "My Everything" by Joy Saliu. The song speaks about finding solace in God amidst every situation, as He remains our all in all; our Everything.

Omekannaya Cover by @angiesings

@angiesings presents an igbo gospel song by Mercy Chinwo titled "Omeka nnaya." Its a song that speaks about the sung and unsung great deeds of the Lord to us. She sings the Igbo language beautifully as if it were her native language.

LOYALTY BY AJEBO COVER by @bobbydones

@bobbydones presents an Afro-beat song by Ajebo Hustler titled Loyalty.

Good Girl LA- Bless Me cover by @meyateingi

@meyateingi presents a song by Good girl LA, titled Bless Me. The song speaks about the desire and yearning to be successful in life, and it assures us that this is possible with hardwork and faith in God.

PERU BY FIREBOY DML by @sleemfit

@sleemfit presents a song with danceable and excellent grooves by Fireboy DML, titled Peru. Obviously, it isn't dedicated to the country called Peru, but it is a song about living the best out of the moment.

@gloriaolar presents a cover of a Yoruba Gospel song by Infinity titled Aye Ole. The song speaks about finding assurance and encouragement in God amidst every situation we find ourselves.

Our Christmas event begins tomorrow 16th December, 2022; you can read this post for further details.

In few hours, we will publish a post containing recent updates, some of which include:

NFT integration for the Prize winner.
More tokens added.
We'll appreciate more native languages for the song choice, however if you don't know any, you are free to use English.
Any African tune is allowed as an entry, in line with our weekly contest.

The Prize pool as at December 9, 2022 stands at: 60 Hive + 1000 Ecency Points + 100 Music Tokens + 50 Leo Tokens. Who knows what it will be later today.
