Character: Earth element

The character I have selected is Earth element. It means anything relating to earth. It could be arboreal, or sand storms, or the mud nourishing the fruits. But it is mostly look like tree which play very pivotal role in maintenance of life on earth.
The idea behind selecting this comes from the recent climate crises affecting many nations across the world. The reason to create this is first to sharp my digital art skills and publish it and secondly raise awareness about importance of forestation,plantation and preservance of natural sources to prevent the harmful affects of climate changes as much as we can.
When I was making it ,I didn’t try to copy it exactly but instead I tried to form an alternative version of it. Though it took me time initially to idealise how I actually want this but then later after forming idea,I gave start command to my pencils. I wanted to avoid any artificiality,that’s why I kept it as much natural as much as I could to present the real idea.
For sketching I used small carbon pencil and delicately sketched the trees,its branches and its leaves. Later to give it life, I applied glancing smile and round glaring eyes on it. For the beautification of sketch I used green and brown colours.The brown color ,I applied to represent stem and woody part and green colors in different shades to represent many types of leaves.
