Hello! This is my second entry for the week. I still remember that this theme is my very first try to join this weekly challenge by Splinterlands. It's almost 2 months. 😊
Earthquake: Non-flying monsters take 2 melee damage at the end of each round
Close Range: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles
Mana Cap: 50
Active Elements: Water, Life, Dragon
| Brighton Bloom | Reason/s | Summoner |
|---|---|---|
| Since the battle rule includes earthquake, I have to use this summoner so all my monsters will have a flying ability. | 4 mana | |
| Djinn Chwala | Reason/s | First Position |
| Its armor and health is tanky for melee and range attacks. Plus its thorn ability. | 8 mana | |
| Carnage Titan | Reason/s | Second Position |
| Who don't want a monster that strike twice? And it's glued for this position as it has reach ability | 11 mana | |
| Demented Shark | Reason/s | Third Position |
| I want to have additional 1 melee attack for my first and second monsters because three is better than two 😅 Well, incase they will use disintegrator, it would be too tacky to have 1 melee damage attack | 6 mana | |
| Sand Worm | Reason/s | Fourth Position |
| Since it's a high mana cap, I expect to battle up against a lineup with 8+ health so a 5 melee damage is a good choice and also to utilize the mana. | 9 mana | |
| Sniping Narwhal | Reason/s | Fifth Position |
| It's actually like a filler to complete the lineup. But it can also help to damage magic and range monsters. | 5 mana | |
| Axemaster | Reason/s | Last Position |
| Same reason as Carnage Titan. Also because the ruleset include Close Range and possibly have attacks missed from the opponent's monsters due to its speed and acquired flying ability | 7 mana |
ROUND 1
All my allied monsters have attacked succesfully despite the speed, see our tanks, while my opponent had to missed some attacks due to the flying ability.
ROUND 2
At this point, my Carnage missed attack twice.
ROUND 3
More bloodshed, only 2 monster left on the opponent after this rounf. Adding Demented Shark in the lineup is crucial. You'll see how Nerisa Tridawn was taken down by Carnage Titan
ROUND 4
Last round. Opponent have no chance.
Yes. Choosing Brighton Bloom for the battle rule Earthquake truly gives an advantage against an opponent that didn't pick it. However, the whole lineup should be solid too as it can easily crumble to dust because there are more monsters with flying ability and other strategies that can counter it.
With the same ruleset and I have to use Dragon splinters again, I would like to try the summoner with speed then a pure lineup of monsters with flying ability.
I do like Dragons! There's more choices to create a lineup as I can use Dragon splinters + another splinter. Also, it's the home for high mana cost monsters which in turn gives a powerful stats and abilities. My current favorite is the Chaos Dragon, particularly its level 2. 😉
