hey whatchu you doin?
I've always been drawn to scary and terrifying stories since I was a child. My older cousins would eagerly tell me a story about ghosts and serial killers waiting to abduct me and I would spend the whole night awake imagining the terrors waiting for me. As I grew and began to borrow books I would read the stuff Edgard Allan Poe wrote (The black cat, The Tell-tale heart, The masque of the red death) with a flashlight under my the bedcovers. Why I insisted to read them at night still confuses me today.
I've read most off R.L Stine Goosebumps series and remember I would borrow 4 books twice a week because my insatiable hunger for horror grew and I could only borrow 4 books at a time. I also started to watch horror flicks which nurtured my horror dependence further. Horror was like a drug to me. As the internet started to become even more bigger in the early 2000's and information was easily attainable using a search engine, I started to find websites that shared many stories. Some of them were urban legends inspired by true events and others were stuff people made up.
A lot of these stories has been shared many times on the net and are called creepy pasta.
I've provided a link under each story.
5. Bed Time
This creepy pasta is rather long but the build up gets more intense as you read, the ending is worth it. This pasta tells about a young boy who gets his own room in a big house despite his unwillingness. Soon after he would experience weird things happening under his bed, weird noises and violent shakes during the night that keeps him awake. The young boy tries to explain this to his parents but they dont believe him, well that is until something unexplainable happens.
