DTUBE - My First MTB Race Nearly Killed Me - @fundition Helped Raise Money

Hey Steemit and @dtube,

My first MTB race, the Cape to Cape in Margaret River Region, nearly killed me!! On the bright side, with the help of the @fundition people, I was able to raise money for RMHC here in Perth while risking my life :)

My son and I decided we'd take up MTB 8 weeks ago, and decided to set ourselves a new challenge. This video is the journey of the successful completion of that challenge! To be clear, 8 weeks prior we had:

1. Never been on a MTB single trail
2. We didn't own a MTB
3. We'd never been in a MTB race before.
4. Never been on a bike for longer than 12km....ever

The Margaret River region was spectacular, and the trails impossibly stunning. The Epic Series team did an outstanding job in pulling this event together, especially for a newbie like Kaleb and I.
