The legendary theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking died at the age of 76 in Cambridge, cambridgeshire, England. A family spokesman confirmed the death of the author of "A Brief History of Time".
Hawking was the most influential scientist of the century, after issuing the concept of gravitational waves, and the big bang theory, despite the attack of Amythropic Lateral Schlerosis (ALS). He was born on January 8, 1942 from the couple Dr. Frank Hawking, a biologist, and isobel hawking, and has two siblings, namely philippa dam Mary, and adopted brother, Edward.
His family had migrated to the United States but returned to London. Hawking was always interested in science and he was inspired by his mathematics teacher named Dikran Tahta to study mathematics at the university. He studied astronomy at oxford and then entered Trinity Hall, Cambridge to study theoretical astronomy and cosmology.
