I agree with your point of view on Back to Black: it's definitely a solid biopic, but it does feel a bit rushed at times, especially in how quickly it moves from Amy's early days to her rise to fame. I think they tried to find the balance between telling her story and entertaining.

I think what I liked most was that there is a lot of Jazz and they illustrate his passion for Jazz whenever possible.
