If we observe well, each current of thought tends to open its own spaces, look for its sympathizers, and for this reason, sometimes it loses contact with other positions and the exchange of opposing, or different ideas, which in many cases, is totally useful for the integral growth of the human being.
A meeting point and debate between ideas is important for every university campus, nourishes it, renews it. However, we can not afford to engage in a national political debate, that has been a serious mistake.
We must discuss the university issue at the same time as the national policy, because it is also part of our daily life and because we are committed to contribute our ideas in the development and evolution of the university system and its educational model, its academic structure, the profile of the professional graduate, etc. Are these aspects in accordance with what society (not the market) needs, with what it is demanding?
From the point of view of the university student community there are also questions on which it is worth reflecting: Is the quality of teaching in universities correct or should it increase? Is the current administrative system the most convenient when making decisions in favor of the student body? Does it really make it possible to get student demands efficiently? We could even go further and ask ourselves if the student community of the universities has a real decision-making power in the issues that concern it with the system that currently governs the universities?
While it is true that we are the generation of relief, the future of the country, among many other adjectives that the student population receives, it is not possible for us to have a speech composed, almost in its entirety, by the national situation and be left aside. our direct or closest reality that is the University. In the end, it is the place where, for 5 or 6 years on average, we spend a good part of our day to day, where we learn, teach and grow. It deserves much more effort, analysis, reflection and action on our part.
Currently we are the new generation of relief, but in our hands is to ensure that those who succeed us are trained, even more than ours, and with higher quality, to take care of a country that is characterized by always wanting to get ahead, to grow , to evolve.
