When the fan at home has some noise or its operation is not correct we must proceed to perform a maintenance to the equipment here I leave some instructions to perform this procedure.
The tools we need are the following: a slotted screwdriver, a pressure pliers, a cloth, a brush, a fine sandpaper and synthetic grease.
We proceed to remove the blade protector, the blade and the plastic cover that are screwed, then remove the four screws that hold the inner caps with the screwdriver.
To remove the shaft we must remove the stopper whose function is to retain the blade so that it is fixed when it is tightened with the screw cap. For this we use a pressure pliers and remove it carefully
We remove the screw that holds one of the pieces that serves as the axis for the oscillation movement for those models that have this function.
Usually we will find that its tips, especially the front, is a bit burned by the lack of lubrication, that is why the noise is produced and this causes its performance to decrease. To remove that burnt grease, we must have the following materials on hand: fine sandpaper and synthetic or other fibrous fat also serves.
We proceed to sand a bit the surface that is burned to remove the burned grease, cleaned with a rag and applied on both parts grease, must place a considerable amount, before assembling it we must remove all the dust that contains the engine with the brush.
Starting by assembling the engine we start with the back, this part is responsible for making the movement of oscillation of the same for those models that contain this function, this part also carries a little fat.
The lid is placed which we must also apply grease to the shaft it has. Now we assemble the motor fixing it with its four screws in addition to test it before finishing the assembly, it is working there but the shutter speed of the camera was fast and the axis is static.
We wash all the missing pieces to remove all the dust it contains and dry them, before proceeding we must place the top of the blade with the pliers.
Ready, the fan working properly, this maintenance must be done every so often, thanks to this maintenance we prolong its useful life.
