Got my hands dirty with Illustrator

I haven't used Adobe Illustrator for ages. I barely remember the time I played with this program. Now, I don't want you to think I'm by any means a professional artwork creator, no no no, I'm just a regular guy who likes to try new stuff.
I used to do simple logos, cartoonish artwork and not so fancy abstract backgrounds following tutorials online just to see if I can learn how to use this huge software. Since I'm not very creative by nature I choose Illustrator over Photoshop.

Final work

It is hard to get the right dimensions so that the cover image to be displayed exactly as you wish. After all, steemit.com and busy.org need to adapt to the screen size.
So I decided to go with a little wider image even if it is cropped on the sides, though I'm happy with the hight of it.
