This is called the Shame Plant, scientific name: Mimosa Pudica. I found it will walking along the beaches of Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica.
It's probably not native there because I also saw the same plant growing up in the Philippines. It's got a strange habit of curling up when you touch it.
