The best things in life have no price
But priceless isn't free
Or you could view a mountainside
With eyes that can not see
Or smell a bed of roses
Without a sense of smell
Or without perception savor
The taste of caramel
Without a sense of moral
Could you know that you are sane?
Could you process thoughts so vast
Without a thinking brain?
A poem or a story
They take us to new heights
But how could we ever read them
If no one chose to write?
Peace of mind and righteousness
If law there never was
And social norms abandoned
Just vanity without cause
So let us take a moment
And breathe the air around
Be thankful for the simple things
That some have never found.
