That job I was telling you about, I got it through a very very random turn of events. Even though I’m not there anymore, I’ll stay indebted to the lady that connected me to it. I called her so many times to say thank you that it started feeling like I was a bother, so I had to dial it down. But I made sure she understood the magnitude of what she’d done for me. And I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope to be able to return the kindness in a way that it at the least measures up to where that job took me from.
