Foto, Natura e Vita! / Photos, Nature and Life! (ITA/ENG)
Il territorio, le piante e gli animali che popolano il nostro pianeta non possono più sopportare i delittuosi mutamenti imposti all’ecosistema dall’incoscienza dei cosiddetti esseri umani. Prima che sia troppo tardi occorre perlomeno fotografare gli incantevoli ambienti naturali e gli ultimi esemplari delle straordinarie creature che vivono sulla Terra.
La realizzazione di un serio reportage va preceduto da un meticoloso studio e preparato minuziosamente. La scelta del periodo dell’anno, la conoscenza geografica del territorio e le abitudini comportamentali delle specie animali ritratte sono informazioni indispensabili per ottenere buoni risultati che sono, invece, irrealizzabili affidandosi a casuali circostanze fortunate.
L'intenzione di scattare fotografie destinate alla divulgazione scientifica, non esclude che le stesse immagini possano risultare belle anche da un punto di vista estetico o che mostrino chiaramente la drammatica condizione in cui gli uomini hanno ridotto “Madre Natura”.
Oltre alla presenza degli interessanti esemplari floro-faunistici, ad evidenziare il fascino dell'Ambiente concorrono anche l'aspetto del cielo e del mare. Realisticamente i fotografi sono consapevoli di dover rappresentare la Bellezza del paesaggio prima della sua inesorabile scomparsa.
La capacità di valorizzare tutti gli elementi con i quali la Natura stessa crea straordinari “effetti speciali” e l'attenzione nel curare le inquadrature, possibilmente a distanza ravvicinata, richiedono precise competenze tecniche ed anni d’esperienza. Dall’osservazione di ogni singola fotografia di interesse naturalistico deve emergere chiaramente l'armonia dell’intero ecosistema, perché la bellezza di un ambiente naturale non può prescindere dal suo equilibrio biologico.
In ogni caso le fotografie non devono limitarsi rappresentare solo il ricordo del mondo che sta scomparendo, ma devono indurre a rispettare l'ambiente e salvaguardare l’esistenza di tanti animali indifesi e inoffensivi, probabilmente destinati all'estinzione, in modo tale da contribuire attivamente alla difesa della bellezza del nostro pianeta.

The territory, the plants and the animals that populate our planet can no longer bear the criminal changes imposed on the ecosystem by the unconsciousness of the so-called human beings. Before it is too late, at least it is necessary to photograph the enchanting natural environments and the last examples of the extraordinary creatures that live on Earth. The realization of a serious report should be preceded by a meticulous study and carefully prepared. The choice of the period of the year, the geographical knowledge of the territory and the behavioral habits of the animal species portrayed are indispensable information for obtaining good results that are, instead, unattainable relying on random fortunate circumstances. The intention to take photographs intended for scientific disclosure does not exclude that the same images may be beautiful even from an aesthetic point of view or that they clearly show the dramatic condition in which men have reduced "Mother Nature". In addition to the presence of interesting floral and faunal specimens, the appearance of the sea sky also contributes to highlighting the charm of the environment. Realistically, photographers are aware of having to represent the Beauty of the landscape before its inexorable disappearance. The ability to enhance all the elements with which Nature itself creates extraordinary "special effects" and the care taken in taking care of the shots, possibly at close range, require precise technical skills and years of experience. From the observation of each individual photo of naturalistic interest, the harmony of the entire ecosystem must emerge clearly, because the beauty of a natural environment cannot be separated from its biological balance. In any case, the photographs must not be limited to representing only the memory of the world that is disappearing, but must lead us to respect the environment and safeguard the existence of so many defenseless and harmless animals, probably destined for extinction, so as to actively contribute to defend the beauty of our planet.
