The shadow of the soother [en/ita]

For newborns, the most precious object in the world is the pacifier. I'm not a father, but I still know that newborns cry loudly all day long if they don't keep the soother in their mouth. Real pacifiers are made of rubber, but there are also soother-shaped ornaments made of glass or ceramic.

Per i neonati l’oggetto più prezioso del mondo è il ciucciotto. Non sono un padre, ma so ugualmente che i neonati piangono a squarciagola per tutto il giorno se non tengono in bocca il ciuccio. I ciucciotti veri sono di gomma, ma esistono anche soprammobili a forma di ciuccio in vetro o ceramica.
