Missed a couple of yesterday's fights since I was out with my son at the local annual fair. I love sports but that was way more fun and important than watching some fights. I did manage to catch a lot of the main card though, and I was actually correct on six of the eight fights I wrote about yesterday, so that was pretty cool.

Bantamweight Cameron Saaiman and light heavyweight Alonzo Menifield were both victorious as I predicted. Both of those fighters have great momentum going forward!

Legend Robbie Lawler got one last savage knockout win, you love to see it!

Bo Nickal got the job done with ease, and got a KNOCKOUT standing up! I know that surprised a lot of people. Nickal's opponents are seriously worried about the take down! Great stuff, the hype train is real! Bo is a matchup nightmare for anyone.

These views from the fan's perspective are pretty cool sometimes.

Dan Hooker and Jalin Turner went to WAR. Dan Hooker always seems to go to war. But this time Hooker got the job done! In a razor sharp decision, this was one of two the fights I predicted incorrectly.

Great to see Dan still has some juice left in him. I'm worried about him getting into too many wars but, so far he's still competing at a high level and hasn't gone full Tony Ferguson.

Dricus Du Plessis shocked a large portion of the MMA world and for the most part dominated one of the greatest middleweights ever in Robert Whittaker. I predicted this one wrong. DDP was super impressive, bullying Whittaker in most exchanges, even the grappling. At one point, DDP straight up headlocked Whittaker to the ground and landed quality ground and pound, which was eye-opening. In the second round, Du Plessis stunned Wittaker with a lethal jab and eventually got the TKO win.

Current middleweight champ Israel Adesanya came into the octagon after the fight and was frankly pretty cringey and lame. But hey, the fight is being sold, that's for sure.

Would love to see DDP continue to shock the world. It's basically a certainty that he's getting the title shot next! Likely soon too.

Alexandre Pantoja became the new men's flyweight champ, just like I predicted! Although this one was VERY close.

Former champ Moreno and Pantoja simply went to war in every phase of MMA. Non-stop action. Props to both. The flyweight division has gotten a lot better lately.

Pantoja is now 3-0 over Moreno!

Volkanovski is still the king of the featherweight division! Another finish for Volk after he TKO'd Rodriguez last night.

I think Volk got stunned once in the fight, but otherwise I was really never worried that he was gonna lose.

Volk is the featherweight GOAT in my eyes. I hope he fights for the lightweight belt again. I think he runs through Topuria too.

The rest of the fights this year will be mad! Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic was announced for UFC 295 in November! Can't wait.
