Cards From My Personal Collection: Donald Levinski 2003 Topps Baseball Card

Not every player is able to make it in the majors. But hey, if I were Donald, I'd be pumped to have my own baseball card and/or play in the minors. There's levels to everything and he accomplished what a lot of players couldn't.

Plus, his card made it into my collection and I want to share every player/card that happened to make in it into my collection.

Former Minor League pitcher Donald Levinski's best minor league season came in 2002 when he played for the Clinton LumberKings a minor league team from Iowa, although now it's a 'collegiate' minor league team apparently. Levinski went 12-6 with the Lumber Kings that season with a very solid 3.02 ERA.

That was Levinski's best season in the minors though. He'd never win more than two games in a season after the season listed on the card.

He retired after the 2007 season after seven years at just 24 years old with a 21-34 record and a 4.53 ERA and 395 strikeouts. I couldn't find any videos about Levinski but I found this article about Levinski. He was a top 50 pitching prospect in 2003. The article claims Levinski was an injury bust. It is what it is! hopefully he can look back and appreciate his career.
