Juan Pierre had a career that I feel will probably always be underrated. He changed teams a lot in his fourteen year career, but he was always productive where ever he went and played a lot. From 2003-2007 Pierre played in all 162 games! Five straight years doing that is pretty legit. It seems Pierre was good enough to be kept around the MLB but never good enough for a team to keep him for more than three years at a time. Oh well according to spotrac.com Juan made at least around $60 million in his playing career, so I'm sure he's not stressed about a team keeping him long term.
Juan had very little power, only hitting eighteen homeruns in fourteen seasons, but that was probably his only obvious flaw as a player. Juan maintained a .295 batting average throughout his career in over 7,500 at-bats. He could steal a ton of bases, eventually totaling an impressive 614 in his whole career.
Juan never won a single award, but man he had a super impressive, productive career in my opinion! He did win a World Series with the Marlins in 2003, so that's a sweet accomplishment on top of his career.
Many people might forget about Juan, but I was always a fan! He retired after 2013 with 2,217 hits.
