Chad Johnson was one of the most exciting, and elite talents in the NFL for about a decade. Interestingly, I feel as if some younger people today might not realize that, while Chad Johnson is a hilarious, entertaining, outspoken character nowadays, Chad Johnson was an absolute beast on the field.
Some people know Chad Johnson as Chad Ochocinco, but however you know him, the bottom line is the guy was elite for practically the entire 2000's. Johnson had seven 1,000 receiving yard seasons throughout that decade including a tremendous streak of six straight from 2002-2007. The man just put up numbers.
Johnson's career high in receiving yards was 1,440 in 2007 and his career high in touchdown receptions was 10 in 2003.
I feel as though he should be on the 2000's All-Decade team! His prime is really underrated.
Johnson's NFL career ended after 2011. He was a 6x Pro Bowler and a 4x All-Pro (3x First-Team, 1x Second-Team). He's in the Bengals Ring of Honor!
A memorable, all-time favorite player for sure!
