While yesterday's game was nothing like Monday's madness, it was still a respectably competitive game and was mildly above average in terms of scoring.
J.T. Ginn did a solid job at limiting the Brewers the best he could, especially considering Vegas's elevation and lack of playable foul territory, aspects I mentioned yesterday. I mean, Ginn wasn't excellent at all but he managed to keep the A's in it. Ginn lasted 5 2/3 innings, and allowed five runs.
The A's offense did their part to have Ginn's back. Every single A's starter reached base, and only one didn't record a hit. They totaled ten hits, and four walks. Solid productivity in the 7-5 victory!
Oh yeah, half of those ten hits were HOMERS. Nick Kurtz hit his 15th, Tyler Soderstrom hit his 11th, Jonah Heim hit his 5th, Zack Gelof hit his 8th and...
Henry Bolte hit his FIRST CAREER MLB HOMER!

Bolte has a tremendous skill set, and I think he's got a bright future!
So yes in just two games of this series, a total of 41 runs have been scored between the A's and Brewers, pretty wild!
Tonight, Jack Perkins of the A's and Brandon Sproat of the Brewers both have ERAs of over 6. So tonight could easily have a lot more runs once again!
Sure the field and location have been unique, but I'm pretty proud of how the A's have competed with the Brewers. They've held their own!
The guys have an off-day tomorrow. Phillies play, Game 4 of the NBA Finals are on too. It's set to be a legendary, rare night indeed!
