God doesn't listen to the prayer of the sinner.
Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord : but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Our prayers should be short and meaningful. We are not to keep repeating ourselves because God already knows what we require.
Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
The Catholics should not recite the rosary because God does not want us to pray in the same way over and over again.
When we want to pray, we should kneel down, take a horizontal attitude, and face down. Then Jesus Christ fell on his face to pray, He set an example for us to follow.
Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt .
If you keep repeating your petitions, God is not deaf. It is not in the amount of words that you speak that determine the answer to your prayer.. Before you even ask, God knows what you require, what you need.
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do : for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
There is no need for repetitive prayer, and we are not to pray to impress or boast, since most people enjoy praying in the public, on the roadways, and with open doors only to be viewed as 'Prayerful.' Every heart is searched by God, and He is aware of all intentions.
When we fast or pray, we should not act hypocritically or like the Pharisees, who prefer to be seen everywhere. We should be alone while praying.
