I want to share with you brethen the lesson learnt from today's teaching by Brother Eliseo Soriano.

Having God in one's life is the best, if you seek for God first, any other things you are seeking will be given unto you.
For example when choosing a life partner, if you have God in your life, it is God that will choose the right one for you.
Proverbs 19:14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.
Seek God's kingdom and his righteousness first and every other things shall be added unto you. Be it riches, spouse, knowledge, wisdom and so on.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Sin entered into this world by one man and that is Adam, Adam gave room for Satan to come into this world, originally Satan was an angel but when he sin against God he became a fallen angel deceived Eve and by that means Adam got to sin against God.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Whoever sin shall bear the consequences of his sin, a son cannot be punished of his father's sin and a father cannot bear his son's sin.
Sin cannot be inherited through one's parent except if the child is walking in the path that his parent have walked in.
Ezekiel 18:19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
There is no sin that cannot be redeem by Christ, no matter how brutal it is.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Difference between soul and spirit?
Soul is said to be the mind, will and emotion where we think and feel. It is a representation of a living person and all creature have a soul.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Spirit is what connects us to God, it gave us the ability to have intimacy with God that is why it returns to God after death.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Why many people doesn't obey, accept or follow Christ while he was on earth is because people loves to follow their own belief and they are making business out of religion. Their deeds and way are full of evil so they embrace darkness and refused to accept the light which is Jesus Christ.
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Your salvation as a person doesn't guarantee other people's or your household's salvation. If you accept the doctrines of Christ, if you join the church of God and your wife and children does not seems to join you must look for a way to make them accept. Pray to God about it, he holds everyone's heart, God can change their mind.
1 Corinthians 7:16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
Preaching of the gospel should be free, anything you are acquire freely mist be given out freely too. To know a preacher sent by God is if he doesn't speak of himself, if he speaks the heart of God.
Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
The right justice men can acquire is the one from God. God is the perfect Judge and whatever he says is the right thing to do. God said we should love our enemies even if they hurt us and that we should not repay evil with evil.
Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Whatever you want your fellow men to do to you, whatever you can accept or tolerate or take is exactly what you should do to them. If you want them to love, care, forgive, trust you, then do so too.
Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
