Page 12 of the Steemit 2017 Roadmap ( https://steem.io/2017roadmap.pdf ) states the following about a planned rebranding of Steemit:
- A new logo, logotype, and clearly distinguishing color scheme will be developed for steemit.com to differentiate it from the Steem Blockchain (which will continue to use the existing, widely known logo).
In the new SMT website ( https://smt.steem.io/ ) the above image of excited people inside of a shape is found. I thought it looked suspiciously like an S with the middle section looking similar to the waves found in the current logo. I put 2 and 2 together and deduced that maybe this is the new steemit logo!
What do you think? I like it although I do have one interesting observation...
Basically if you take two old Pepsi logos, rotate them and stagger them just so...you get the picture.
So is this Steemit's new logo? Only time will tell!
