Women with flat or inverted nipples sometimes do have some trouble breastfeeding depending on the degree of inversion. Even when successful, breastfeeding could be painful. Try using nipple shields (ask your doctor) or pump and feed by bottle. If you successfully breastfeed your firstborn, breastfeeding your second will be much easier. If you find breastfeeding too challenging, don't feel bad - there is always formula 🍼 to the rescue!
