Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example], Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers). But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.(Verses 1-2,)
LET US let the Holy Spirit counsel us in everything. DELIGHT in God's Word, MEDITATE on them day and night, then we are extremely blessed, blessed beyond measure! God's favor goes with us and everything we do prospers, we overflow with God's goodness. WE are the blessed and favoured of the LORD!
