1cor 15 vs 58: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast , unmoveable , always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Steadfast : which means being firmly loyal and totally commitment
Unmovable means incapable of being emotionally moved.
And always abounding is being highly productive at all time
This three keywords are essential in service to the Lord.
During our service to God we will face trials and temptation which will want to take us away from God. Despite all this, we must stay firm with God, we should be unshakable. Just like the apostles they face a lot of challenges while preaching the gospel but they never turn their back against God
Remember, Satan tempted Jesus, so who are we not to face trials and temptations. Needs will arise left and right but we should not allow our needs to take the place of God in our life's.
He has sent his Holy spirit to be our comforter, to guide and to direct our path.
So, Our labour for God is not in vain, he doesn't use and dump. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him
It is important we put our faith on him and as well believe in him. Salvation is through faith.
Hebrew 11 vs 6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
God himself knows we will face trial and temptation but he said he has overcome it all. i.e the victory is already in place. Our victory is found in Jesus Christ.
John 16 v 33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Therefore seek him first, he should take the first place in our life's.
Matthew 16 v 33:But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Note: He didn't say one or two...He said all (i.e no exception).
Lastly, In our service to God we must be productive, we must bear fruit. He said in his word that any tree that does not bear fruit will be cut.
I pray we will not be cut off in Jesus name.
