My nephew and I walked his dog called Mister. Mister loves walking through the tall grass.
We walked next to the wildlife refuge and the ponds with many water birds.
You can see the wood chip mill in the distance below.
Here are some beautiful cattails along the road by the wildlife refuge.
I did the rest of my walk walking up towards Sunset Memorial Park and over the other hill and back home. The neighbor hoods are beautiful here.
The hydrangeas loose their blue color and turn this color below.
I love these little light green ferns. Aren’t they gorgeous.
The purple hydrangeas are beginning to loose their color too but still look very beautiful.
Here is the view at the top of the other hill opposite of the Park. You can see the harbor and the mainland on the other side of the harbor. I’m not sure if that’s an island or tiny peninsula there in the harbor. I just checked the map. It is a tiny island in the harbor.
Here are some beautiful heather flowers close up.
The bees really like these flowers and the color is so beautiful.
Below are some beautiful little poppy flowers and I love the color of them. It is like sunshine.
Below is some gorgeous light green bamboo plants or maybe they are young trees that were planted someone’s huge yard. Bamboo does not grow here naturally.
Thanks for visiting and have a great week.
