Taxation in a representative republic is completely misunderstood. The problem in our republic is outlined in a previous blog post of mine if you're interested to read it:

you didn't sign on for it but you have to pay anyway or civilization puts you in jail.
But We are transitioning into a nation of snowflakes. We can fight it or work with it and mold it.
Fighting is useless. Our socialized school systems are giving birth for us and training our offspring to be losers. Finding a truly freethinker under 20 is worth his weight in salt... just a little historical humor there.

Us Salty Dogs should not fight High Taxation because it isn't theft it's a payment of a debt. Granted, it's not a standard contractual debt but yet it's a debt nonetheless. One has the option of foregoing that debt by leaving but as long as he lives within the borders of our sovereign nation it's a debt he’s agreed to pay, by staying. If one doesn't like the amount of that debt then he needs to lobby congress to uncap itself back to 1:30,000 and un-dilute our voices there.
Think of this debt like the debt we pay our property managers for maintenance of our housing subdivisions. Don't like the amount and cost of services, then run for a seat on the board and create a 3rd party line to block the expenses from being created.
Think of this debt as a way of fighting off communism where all of the results of your labor and talents are extorted and stolen.
We have to lobby for smart exemptions from taxation while supporting a high tax rate then use the loop holes to create them jobs to expand and grow and make everyone look good.
