The Titanic was presumed to be the largest, safest and strongest luxury ship in the world. It embarked on its maiden voyage in April 1912 which turned out to be disastrous.
Many people from different facets of the world were welcomed to board the ship these included the rich, the famous, the elite, men, women and children.
On Its first journey from Southampton to New York it sank, this became one of the greatest tragedies in history. Two lists were presented at the company (White Star Company). The list had two sections: 'LOST' and 'SAVED'. Bear in mind that before the tragedy so many things were been considered, these includes:
Whether they were Rich or Poor?
Whether they were Billionaire or Peasant?
Whether they were stockbroker or not?
Whether they were men or women?
After the tragedy, all these things were considered no more. Only one thing was important: Whether they were saved or lost.
All these things are big lessons for us to meditate on, cos a time will come when none of these things that we possess on earth will matter. Only what will matter will be whether you are 'SAVED' or 'LOST' on the day you die and meet your Creator.
