Chelsea Defeat Nottingham Forest 2-0, as 2 goals from Morata saw the blues secure a victory and move to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Chelsea would have gotten the first goal in the 13th minute, after a cross from Davide Zappacosta found Morata, but the Morata's header was sent straight at the keeper who easily saved it.
Chelsea were given a golden chance when Danny Fox made a clumsy challenge on Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the box and were duly awarded a penalty. Cesc Fabregas took the PK but his stuttering run up was poor with the keeper easily getting his hand to the ball and sending it to safety.
The first half ended with both sides on level terms. It was in the second half that the action happened.
After some fine work on the right by Hudson-Odoi who was really impressive in the game, he sent a beautiful cross towards Morata who slammed the ball in with a close range header.
Hudson-Odoi almost made it 2 after an impressive run saw him send a good effort towards goal, but he was denied by a quick save.
Morata played over a Ross Barkley cross from 2 yards out, with the offside flag being raised though.
Chelsea's second goal came later in the same fashion, with another header from Morata after being found by a beautiful cross from Hudson-Odoi.
Chelsea kept a clean sheet and grabbed a 2 goal victory, moving to the fourth round.
Cesc Fabregas was given a standing ovation in the last minutes of the game, as this might be his last game at the club.
