When the court will publish its summary judgement in the Ripple lawsuit has been a topic of discussion among legal analyst and the XRP community. The XRP community has been eagerly awaiting a favourable decision in the matter since the summary judgement briefings were finished in December 2022.

Attorney Fred Rispoli shared his understanding of some facts pertaining to Judge Torres, which clarified the lingering query regarding the potential timing of the summary judgement. He cited data showing that while the plaintiffs' MSJ award rate is 24%, the defendants' MSJ grant rate is 37%. The average time for MSJ rulings, from filing to order, is 249 days, he continued.

Additionally, Fred mentioned an interesting point made by someone else: approximately 60% of rulings fall within the range of 146 to 330 days. Applying this information, he calculated the following dates.

The potential dates are May 21, 2023, which is 249 days after September 17, 2022, and August 10, 2023, which is 330 days after that date. Fred thinks about the possibilities of getting the most amazing birthday present of his entire life, despite the frustration of waiting.

The founder of CryptoLaw, attorney John Deaton, has also offered his perspective on the continuing legal battle involving the SEC and Ripple. Deaton spoke about the possible steps Ripple might take if Judge Analisa Torres granted summary judgement in the SEC's favour during a recent CryptoLaw webcast.

Deaton thinks that Judge Torres is aware of Ripple's plan to challenge a negative decision, raising the possibility that the case may ultimately end up before the US Supreme Court. According to his calculations, the outcome of the legal procedures may be drastically affected if the SEC is granted summary judgement.

The host of a recent episode of Digital Outlook with David talked about the nagging issue of why the Ripple v. SEC case is taking so long to be resolved. He outlined many causes for the case's delay and provided reasonable justifications along with XRP outlook for this year.
